Digg This: Talking to Gen Y
October 27th, 2006 | by Kennith |
I am a Gen Y, so I was attracted to this article. In this article, it talked about how Gen Y perform in the workplace. It said that Gen Y seeks more personal growth and likely to please to have a mentor instead of a director.
In my personal experience, I agree with the article. I will be more please not to be told what to do but to be guide of where to go and improve. Sometimes I may ask myself why I am here and what contribution can I make or how am I improving in the area.
It is good to know more about my generation, even though it may be represent my entire generation.
Note: Workforce of the Gen Y are the generation currently in their 20s, including those who were born between 1977 to 2003.
