Who should I vote for for president in 2008?

Apparently, according to politicalbase.org, I am match up with

Mitt Romney – 61 match

Of all the candidates, Mitt Romney is the most socially conservative, opposing abortion, same-sex marriage, and foetal stem-cell research. He won over the electorate in the Massachusetts’ gubernatorial race by saying that while he personally opposed abortion, it should be a private choice. Now he’s ready to overturn Roe v Wade. He is Mormon and one-fifth of voters plan to hold that against him but he has proven his competence as co-founder of Bain Capital. While under his leadership, the firm made 100% returns. He can also take credit for turning a $3 billion state deficit into a $700m surplus and being the first to tackle health care reform.
Barack Obama – 58 match

You must be ambitious and idealistic, like Barak Obama. Obama is a liberal democrat who, unlike his rivals, opposed the Iraq war from the start. With only 8 years in the Senate, his inexperience worries some and sometimes reveals itself in the debates, but he also has the charisma and popular support that the others lack.
John Edwards – 57 match

John Edwards is a progressive democrat with little legislative experience (6 years). He has noble goals accompanied with detailed plans of how to accomplish them. He believes that resources are best spent on poverty alleviation (in the U.S.), universal health coverage, and addressing global warming than on reducing the budget deficit or continue funding an unpopular war. He is the most populist and protectionist of the candidates and is the only one willing to admit that his plans will require more- not fewer taxes, but the bill will still be less than what the Iraq War is currently costing.

Take the test.
